Client:
A large Commercial Property Owner -
Custom Development and Oracle Applications implementation Project
Objective:
All the functional specs were developed in the US and the technical
specs and the development was done offshore.
Implemented
Oracle financial applications to improve the overall efficiency
in the back-end processes.
Significantly
decrease the cycle time to lease mall property. The objective
was to increase the real estate occupancy from 80% to 95% and
increase the bottom line. Which translates into 20% increase in
profits per year.
Brief
Description:
Developed a custom application using Java, Workflow, Portals and
Oracle technologies to improve the overall Property Leasing Process.
The
existing Leasing Process consisted of numerous discrete activities,
significant duplication of tasks due to non visibility of the
entire sequence of operations mostly manual, which can take as
long as 12 months to complete the entire life cycle from prospect
to Mall merchant. Workflow application embedded in portals was
developed to streamline activities in order to significantly shorten
this life cycle while decreasing effort and increasing visibility
and control.
Team:
Program manager on shore and 3 Java/Workflow developers and 1
technical architect/DBA were augmented offshore with the responsibility
of translating the functional specifications into technical specifications
and development.
Technology
Stack:
Sun Servers, Oracle 8i, Apache, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Applications,
Java Beans, Java Script, PLSQL.

Client:
An Architecture Engineering and Construction company- Oracle Applications
implementation.
Objective:
Build an Exchange to enable the supply chain of the EPC Company
to share information in a real time environment through the life
cycle of EPC starting at the initial design stages to detail design,
procurement, construction and decommissioning. The ROI of the
project was 3 years with significant saving to the bottom line.
This project enhanced the overall supply chain for this company.
Brief
Description:
Developed a custom application for an EPC company enabling the
design in a collaborative environment. Improved the overall back
office efficiency by implementing Oracle Purchasing, Account Payables,
General Ledger and Oracle Projects.
Team:
US Team: All the project management activities and the functional
specifications. The technical specifications and the actual development
was done off shore. The systems and integration testing was done
by the US team members and the client.
Technology
Stack:
HP Servers, Oracle 8i, Apache, Oracle Applications.

Client:
A Credit Card Transaction Processing - Database Migration and
Custom Development.
Objective:
Make improvements in the backbone technology stack and make application
enhancements to handle the exponential growth in the business.
Brief
Description:
Due to the exponential increase in the business, the existing
applications written mostly Microsoft technologies were not scaling.
Re-wrote the entire application set in C++ and PL/SQL and migrated
the database from SQL server to Oracle. Resulting solution was
a very compact code with a significant increase in the performance
to handle approximately a million transactions a month.
Team:
Project Manager, 4 developers, 1 DBA and 1 technical architect.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Client:
A Shuttle and Transportation company - A Business Process and
Architecture Definition Project.
Brief
Description:
Conducted an executive workshop to facilitate the strategive direction
of the company along with the SWOT analysis.
Developed a comprehensive Map with respect to the transportation
Process.
Developed high level requirements and desired/future process Flows.
Analyzed requirements- MoSCoW ("Must/Should/Could/Wont")
Analysis.
Designed the initial Employee and customer portals.
Reviewed the current technical environment and system(s) architecture.
Created a comprehensive Technical Architecture.
Developed Implementation Roadmap

Client:
Fortune-500 aerospace company.
Objective:
To develop an interactive procurement web application
Team:
Two (2) ASP programmers, one (1) test engineer (Offshore), a project
manager (Onshore).
Brief
Description:
A large aerospace company needed to develop an application that
automates airline passenger power seat integration. The legacy
application kept track of the seat components, including in-seat
actuators, controller, in-flight entertainment system and master
control unit but duplicated orders due to lack of complete integration
with the database. Each customer is designated with access information
to gain entry into a secured database of the company's web site
in order to enter new orders and also track existing orders. We
were able to utilize business process engineering and revamped
the application, which kept track of orders and were successful
in eliminating duplication of orders.

Client:
A Mid-Size aircraft component Manufacturing Company
Objective:
To develop an application to manage Engineering Activity
Team:
A team of 12 designers (project leader, designers, senior programmers,
junior programmers), 3 test engineers & testers off-shore,
Senior project management team (of two) on-shore.
Brief
Description:
A Mid-Sized manufacturing company needed to make a transition
from paper trail system to an automated Engineering Activity Request
system. The existing process utilized incoming Engineering requests
with no central database. This made it very difficult to track
the work to be done and provide the status to all parties concerned.
We
utilized the Mesasoft Application Implementation Methodology(MIM™)
in defining the Full Cycle Business requirements.
To
streamline and automate the process Mesasoft implemented Oracle
database and Oracle engineering to maintain the incoming requests,
which allowed the client to centrally locate the engineering tasks.
Further, to allow the users to enter the engineering requests
and also track the status, we implemented Oracle manufacturing
and Financials.
